This country’s premier Rock & Roll legend Joe Brown comes to us after another remarkable year even by his own high standards. The year 2008 marked Joe’s 50th year as a professional entertainer and he truly is one of this country’s best loved, enduring, and most acclaimed musicians. Joe, along with his band is back at this theatre by popular demand in another two-hour musical celebration.
His 50th Anniversary tours were complete sell outs at every venue. He also achieved a Gold Record for 100,000 sales of his Very Best Of album which was on the UK charts for 8 weeks staying 4 weeks in the top 20 and in September that year he also sold out The Royal Albert Hall with his 50th Anniversary Celebration Concert followed by the release in October 2008 of a new album More Of The Truth.
He continued to break box office records in 2009 and 2010 and in 2009 received both MOJO magazine’s coveted Outstanding Contribution To Music Award and an MBE.
You may have seen Joe touring the major arenas with Status Quo in 2010, performing on Later With Jools Holland or at the cinema playing his part closing the show at the Royal Albert Hall at the Concert For George Harrison or have been there to witness him playing his critically acclaimed set at Glastonbury Festival but if not now is your chance to see one of the all time great talents live.
A sensational show you should not miss
